The Opportunity: We are seeking a Paediatric Registrar (PGY4) to join the team within Murrumbidgee LHD . With generous daily rates, full travel support, and no on-call requirements, this role offers the perfect balance of career development and lifestyle in regional NSW. Work in a 15-bed paediatric unit and 8-bed Special Care Nursery (from 32 weeks) Provide assessment and management for patients from neonates to 16 years Attend births, perform neonatal and advanced paediatric resuscitation, and respond to ED referrals for unwell children Develop and implement acute management plans and interventions Work alongside paediatric consultants (daytime cover and after-hours on-call support) and resident medical staff rostered for day/evening shifts Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain: High clinical exposure in general paediatrics, neonatal care, and emergency presentations Hands-on experience with neonatal and advanced paediatric resuscitation Support from consultants and experienced nursing teams A balanced roster with day (0800-2030) and night (2000-0830) shifts Opportunity for longer-term contracts for interested doctors Eligibility: AHPRA General Registration Competency in neonatal and advanced paediatric resuscitation NSW Working with Children Check Police Check Australian working rights Ability to complete hospital credentialing Location - Murrumbidgee LHD: Located in Southern NSW, the Murrumbidgee region offers the best of regional city convenience and rural charm .
